Vision

When installing Vision always download and install the base system first of all and run it. Once the base system is running correctly then download and install any upgrade listed below. This information applies to both the Windows and Mac versions. 

Version 2 - Windows
System requirements:

  • Windows version 11 or 10.

  • This product requires internet access to be activated and then running occasionally (at least once every 28 days) with your internet 'on' to verify your license validity.

  • A minimum screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

  • 8Gb of free hard disk space.

We recommend (although this is not a requirement) that your computer has 8GB of RAM for good performance.
Vision v2 is a large download (approx 2Gb) and will take approximately 1 hour to download depending on the speed of your internet connection. Once downloaded simply double click the downloaded file in your internet browser to begin installation. The Vision v2 base system will install into a new folder on your hard disk and will not overwrite or replace previous versions of Vision. You will require a Product Key with Vision 2 enabled (this was provided when you purchased) to activate and run Vision.

Starting with version 2.0006 all updates to Vision for Windows are offered and updated automatically when you start Vision.

Note: The latest updates will be offered automatically to all users running v2.0006 or v2.0007 (original) when Vision is started. When offered this upgrade please accept to update your system. 

Version 2 - Mac
System requirements:

  • MacOS Catalina, Big Sur, Monterey, Ventura, Sonoma, Sequoia

  • Your Mac's display must initially set to 'Light' mode (not Dark mode)

  • A minimum screen resolution of 1344 x 840 pixels.

  • 8Gb of free hard disk space.

We recommend (although this is not a requirement) that your computer has 8GB or 16GB of RAM for good performance. This is a large download (approx 2Gb) and may take up to 1 hour to download (depending on the speed of your internet connection).

You will require a Product Key with Vision 2 enabled (provided when you purchased) to activate and run Vision. The first time you run MacVision v2 you will need to tell your Mac to allow Vision v2 to have access your Documents folder and to install software (Rosetta) - please give Vision access to allow everything that it prompts for.

Remember : you must install and run the base system above before installing the upgrade!

Akiva version 2 (Windows and Mac)
If you are downloading in order to take a new trial of Akiva please note it will run for 14 days from the date you install Akiva onto your computer. After the 14 day period the trial will end and you need to activate the system with a Product key.

End of Life Products:
You may use this download to install a new copy of Vision v1 or to upgrade any old version prior to v1.0035.  All previously released upgrades have been 'rolled-up' and included in this download. This download is the final release of Vision v1.0035 (April 2019). No further upgrades to this version will become available and no new repertories and materia medicas will be added into Vision v1.. Vision v1 can be installed and used with versions 7, 8 & 10 of Windows. Either a dongle or product key configured for Vision v1 is required.

If Vision v1 does not recognise your dongle then your dongle may be damaged or it may no longer be supported by Windows. If you are sure your dongle is not damaged and you do not wish to upgrade to Vision version 2 then you can download and install the final dongle driver software below.

If you have any missing repertories or materia medicas after installing version 1 please also download the installer below and add these into your Vision v1 system - making sure you install into exactly the same folder as you installed Vision v1 into.
